W03 Tutorial Reflection

W03 Tutorial Notes 

I ended up choosing suburbia for my tutorial theme group, for which I am very glad. Peter Wolff and the other tutors seem extremely enthusiastic and willing to share and develop ideas with everyone. As a group we discussed the functionality of shopping centres. As seen in the image, the fundamental principal idea expressed by Murray in the lecture was translated to the fundamental principals behind shopping centres.

Fundamental Principals

The result looked into the ideas of community, identity, connection & belonging as a root of Paddington Central Shopping Centre. It can be seen that suburbs that have shopping centres in close proximity are more successful than those without.
